PRISA Group, a leading family-owned development and construction company in Dorado, Puerto Rico is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. In this position the candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial planning and analysis activities, will assist in gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes. In this role the person will be responsible for preparing cash flow projections and financial dashboards for the holding company and affiliated family investments to support managements strategic planning and decision making.
Responsibilities:
Conduct financial analysis including cash flow analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support business objectives.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate accounting standards.
Utilize Microsoft Excel for data collection, financial modeling, and creating pivot tables to analyze trends.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; accounting and/ or financial tracking hardware, Prophix and proficient in the use of spreadsheets and databases to analyze financial information.
Ability to tell the story behind the data.
Engage in quantitative research to inform investment banking decisions and corporate finance strategies.
Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by providing insights from financial data analysis.
Fluent in English and Spanish both written and verbal.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VBA programming.
Assist in the preparation of Private Equity Fund financial reports
Experience with financial software tools such as Bloomberg, Hyperion, or other business intelligence applications.
Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, cost accounting, governmental accounting, and investment banking practices.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform quantitative analysis and interpret complex data sets. for senior management, for GAAP and tax purposes and in ensuring overall compliance with government requirements.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Work on additional new business initiatives across PRISA'S various segments as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, investments or related fields.
2. Minimum 2-4 years of working experience
