Job Description

We are looking for a Junior System Engineer. The successful candidate will work with a team of experienced system engineers to design, develop, and implement system solutions for complex networks.

Our client\'s Technologies focus on Software & System Engineering in Enterprise and Cyber Security solution spaces. Our client excels at delivering stable and reliable software solutions using Agile Software Development principles. These provide us the capability to deliver a quick turn-around using interactive applications and the integration of industry-standard software stacks.

Nice to Have\'s:

• Work with experienced system engineers to design, develop, and implement system solutions for complex networks
• Assist in the integration of systems with other systems and platforms
• Perform system analysis, monitoring, and testing to ensure high availability, reliability, and functionality
• Provide support for system administration, configuration management, and network management activities
• Participate in the planning and implementation of system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
• Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as needed
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in system engineering and incorporate them into our systems

Must Have\'s:

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows
• Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNs
• Familiarity with system administration and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Active TS/SCI-FSP

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Salary: $70,000-95,000
