Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Journeyman Pipe Fitter

to join our growing team. You'll perform

high-quality piping installations

on small and large commercial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local codes.
For

Foreman-level candidates

, you'll also lead and coordinate crews, oversee projects, and ensure top-notch quality and safety on site.

Key Responsibilities

Journeyman Pipe Fitter:

Install, maintain, and repair piping for heating and chilled systems on commercial projects Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently Train and mentor apprentices as needed Ensure work meets local codes and safety regulations Field measure and verify proper fitment of installations Communicate effectively with project managers and team members

Foreman Pipe Fitter (in addition to above):

Lead and manage onsite piping crews to ensure timely, high-quality completion Coordinate with other trades for smooth project workflow Attend and participate in weekly jobsite meetings Pre-plan projects to ensure adequate materials and manpower Oversee quality control and safety compliance across all job sites

Qualifications

Journeyman Pipe Fitter:

City of Fargo Heating/Gas License (Required) Minimum 4 years of piping experience Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings Reliable transportation and necessary hand tools Strong teamwork and leadership skills

Foreman Pipe Fitter:

City of Fargo Heating/Gas License (Required) Minimum 5 years of piping experience Valid driver's license and clean driving record Proven experience leading crews and coordinating with other trades Ability to field measure, plan ahead, and execute projects
