HireAbility Vermont is recruiting for a Job Coach to join our dynamic team in Bennington. The Job Coach will provide time limited support for HireAbility participants in education, training, and/or employment settings. Examples of the work include direct, one-to-one support at job sites, tutoring at the HireAbility office or via virtual meetings, and coaching at post-secondary workshops or classes. The goal of the Job Coach is to help the participant become fully independent. After the participant has become stable on the job or in the classroom, the Job Coach may provide periodic check-ins to follow up.

The Job Coach\'s work schedule will vary based on the specific training needs of participants. Frequent local travel to visit with participants will be expected.

This is a temporary position. Temporary work is typically for variable hours, and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) months or more of work or volunteer experience in human services, customer service, or a related field requiring considerable personal interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
