Overview

Part Time: 7:30am to 9:30am Monday, Wednesday Friday- & Sunday

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing as needed. Handle waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with company policies. Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report any facility issues to management. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly. Follow safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.

Experience

Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Experience in floor care, including buffing and maintenance of various surfaces. Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is beneficial for specific assignments. Porter experience or facilities maintenance background is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
