We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitorial Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at 1 location in Barron, 7 nights per week is required. facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Duties
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
Maintain restrooms by cleaning sinks, toilets, mirrors, and replenishing supplies as needed.
Conduct floor care activities such as using and maintaining auto floor cleaner to ensure floors are well-maintained.
Handle commercial cleaning duties in as required.
Assist with custodial tasks including waste disposal and recycling efforts.
Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good working order.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
Requirements
Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous.
Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus.
Knowledge of residential painting or porter experience can be beneficial.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good physical stamina; ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
