Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role is crucial in supporting the overall operations of our organization through effective custodial practices.

Responsibilities

- Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in commercial and industrial settings.

- Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.

- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

- Provide porter services as required, including moving furniture or equipment for events or cleaning purposes.

Requirements

- Previous experience in custodial, commercial cleaning, or industrial cleaning preferred.

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.

- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.

- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,700.00 per month

Expected hours: 30 per week
