The Opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a full-time IT Technician to join our team at Squire Resort at Grand Canyon, in Tusayan, Arizona. As an IT Technician, you will work with the Operation Lead to support daily technical operations at Squire Resort at Grand Canyon. The IT Technician will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of all computing technology associated with applications, data, communications, hardware, and networks.

Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance and support for desktop and laptop computers and provides end-user support for hardware and software systems.
  • Assist with the implementation of solutions at the operating location, and ensure that these solutions are consistent with the overall IT strategy of Delaware North.
  • Set up computer software and hardware for new and existing associates, set up and maintain all user account and computer configurations.
  • Actively prioritize and resolve issues and end-user help requests during normal business hours as well as during events.
  • Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions are taken, through to the final resolution.
  • Manage support ticket queue to minimize business impact and length of time tickets remain open, and maximize the IT support of the Delaware North business
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
  • Experience with point of sale, property management systems, retail systems, cloud-based computing, network support, and Windows required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and sales skills in a customer service-driven industry.
  • Must be team-oriented and able to prioritize job responsibilities to meet the needs of the operation.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • An associate degree in business or a related field is preferred.
