We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to provide comprehensive technical support and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure. The job will start as a retail support/sales position with room for vertical growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing computer systems, and ensuring network security. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and proficiency with various operating systems and IT tools. The IT Technician will play a critical role in supporting daily operations and ensuring seamless technology performance across the organization. We make the customer's problems our own by giving them the utmost care and open line of communication to fully maintain transparency.
Duties
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to end-users via help desk platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira
Manage and troubleshoot computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications including Microsoft Office suite
Configure and maintain network components such as LAN, VPN, firewall, and other security measures to ensure network integrity
Assist with computer management tasks including setup, deployment, updates, and repairs
Support IT infrastructure maintenance including servers
Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to LAN/WAN networks and resolve software or hardware malfunctions
Document incidents and resolutions accurately in ticketing systems
Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and implement new solutions for enhanced system performance
Educate users on best practices for cybersecurity, operating system usage, and software applications
Maintain storefront cleanliness and overall modern appearance
Skills
Proven experience in technical support roles with knowledge of computer management and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and mobile devices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general desktop support skills
Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, VPN setup, firewall configuration, and network security protocols
Experience with software troubleshooting across various platforms and devices
Familiarity with IT support tools like Help Desk ticketing systems and N-Able support platform is a plus
Ability to manage computer hardware components effectively
Excellent communication skills to assist users at all levels of technical proficiency is a must
Understanding of IT infrastructure components including servers, switches, routers, and security devices

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
