We are currently seeking a talented Technical Support professional for a full-time position as a Tier 1 IT Support Technician Our Tier 1 Support Technicians are responsible for ongoing troubleshooting, support and management of customer networks, firewalls, workstations, printers, and servers. This position requires daily customer interaction via telephone, text-based chat, remote connection, or command line. Detailed documentation of support ticket efforts is required. Responsibilities

  • Install and perform repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral computer equipment.
  • Oversee the daily performance of client computer systems.
  • Maintain daily records of support incident notes, actions, communications, and results.
  • Review technical notes, confer with team, users, and management to investigate, diagnose, and resolve problems.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding hardware or software problems.
  • Troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications
  • Desktop Support remediating virus and spyware
  • Excellent phone etiquette required.
  • Valid State Issued Drivers License and ability to travel to client sites daily.
  • Must participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
  • Must have ability to proficiently type detailed notes and use proper grammar.

Minimum 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience supporting Microsoft Windows 7 Professional
Minimum 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience performing Spyware remediation
Minimum 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience performing Virus remediation
Minimum 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with Microsoft Office support and troubleshooting. EXPERIENCE DESIRED, NOT REQUIRED: Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012
