Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Support/Systems Admin to support our Company and related companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability and security, and providing technical support to users. This role requires a strong background in systems engineering, administration, and a variety of technologies including cloud services and virtualization.

Duties

Administer and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage solutions. Implement and manage RAID controllers for data redundancy and performance. Design and support service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions. Develop system architecture and solution architecture for various projects. Manage operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments. Implement load balancing techniques to ensure high availability of applications. Configure VPNs and firewalls to secure network communications. Work with cloud platforms for infrastructure management. Perform computer networking tasks including configuration, and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Conduct information security assessments to protect organizational data.

Project

Cloud migration- Designs the target cloud environment and the strategy for migration and Focuses on the technical execution of moving systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and functionality post-migration.

Experience

Candidates should possess a strong foundation in computer science or related fields along with hands-on experience in the following areas:

Systems administration across various platforms (Windows/Linux/UNIX). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash (Unix shell) for automation tasks. Familiarity with microservices architecture and DevOps practices. Experience with virtualization technologies including ESXi and VMware. Knowledge of JavaScript for front-end development tasks is a plus. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in system design, computer management, and information security practices. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential.

Requirements

Experience in multiple technologies including physical and virtual infrastructure, networking components, and Microsoft environments. Minimum 4+ years of experience within relevant IT fields. Has active (or ability to attain) Microsoft certifications, including but not limited to Cloud & AI Platforms, AI Business Solutions or Security. Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT Service Providers. Experience in configuring and managing of network Infrastructure including firewalls, switches, wireless access points and VPN technologies. Associate or bachelor's degree, in computer science, information sciences, or related field preferred.. Experience with virtual desktop, DaaS or Windows PC a plus. Must be able to work on call
