IT Security Career Development Program
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: JBS is seeking candidates for a part-time IT Career Development role at our Corporate Office in Greeley, CO. The intent of this position is to provide a year-round, entry-level position to currently enrolled college students on our IT team. This is an exciting, year-round opportunity for candidates who excel in a busy, achievement-oriented environment and obtain relevant work experience that can lead to long-term placement with JBS. School credit may be available.
Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot & resolve technical issues.
• Maintain documentation and training material for supported services.
• Communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Provide hands-on help to other IT groups.
• Provide excellent customer service to the end users.
• Perform user access provisioning and identity management.
• Work with the team to analyze, establish, and implement security requirements.
• Participle in installing, administering, and troubleshooting security solutions.
• Investigate and report on security statuses and incidents.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Required: Actively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or an IT-related field of study.
• Preferred availability is 20 hours per week (must be within the hours of Monday-Friday 7 am-5 pm), year-round
• 1-2 years of IT classwork or work experience is preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external customers
• Ability to multi-task and must possess strong work ethic
• Ability to successfully work under strict deadlines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory
• Basic knowledge of computer networking and systems security
• Problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of $24.00/hr.; and
