Under the direction of the VP of Information Management, the
IT Project Manager
will be able to create and execute technical and organizational project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively within EK Health as well as their client organization representatives principally to manage software development projects and new client implementations. Must have effective interpersonal, technical, and project management skills. In addition to working collaboratively with all levels within the organization, they must be able to manage people without having direct authority over them. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Work Specifics:
Full-time, exempt position, work remotely. Travel as needed.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage project plan, timelines, and scope
Develop and manage risk/issues lists
Identify resources and assign responsibilities
Follow-up and ensure tasks are completed on a timely basis
Conduct regular project status and issues/risk triage meetings
Notify management of problems, issues, or risks
Notify management of any perceived vendor issues or problems
Provide weekly status reports to management
Work with Account or Department Managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Interface well with personnel and understand resources, deliverables, and schedules
Ensure that AI/ML components of projects are properly integrated, tested, and meet the required standards.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in project management, software development, and AI/ML, applying this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
Position may require occasional overnight travel.
Other responsibilities or duties as may be assigned.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, or a related discipline
3+ years' experience in project management
3 years' experience with IT healthcare systems
Previous experience in managing project budgets
Strong computer knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, email)
Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
Must be able to present complex concepts to non-technical users and convey an understanding of the practical business application solution
Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
Demonstrated ability to organize and plan complex tasks
Ability to communicate with all levels of any organization
Exceptional time management skills and solid follow-through skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to deliver positive, measurable results in a timely manner
Possess excellent Interpersonal Skills
Ability to collaborate on a team level with excellence, dignity and respect and create solutions to everyday problems encountered by end users

Preferred but not mandatory:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Knowledge of the terminology, customs, and practices of the managed care / workers' compensation market
Detailed knowledge of insurance services, bill review and risk management processes
Physical Requirements:
Candidate must be able to sit most of a work day except for lunch and break times. Candidate must be able to keyboard most of a work day except for lunch and break times. Candidate must have manual dexterity. Candidate must be able to speak on the telephone intermittently throughout the day. Candidate must be able to read and write English fluently. Candidate must be able to provide and confirm safe home office environment. Home office must be HIPAA compliant.
