Medical Associates is seeking a motivated

IT Programmer intern

who is ready to apply educational knowledge and business practices in a real-world environment. The IT Programmer Intern will support the IT team with hands-on programming and development projects, with a primary focus on

Python-based development, AI-related initiatives, and Microsoft Foundry tools

IT Programmer Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with writing, testing, and debugging code using

Python

Support

AI and automation projects

, including data processing and model integration Collaborate with IT and business teams to develop and enhance internal applications Work within

Microsoft Foundry

and related Microsoft development tools Participate in code reviews, documentation, and basic system troubleshooting Learn and apply software development best practices

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field Preference will be given to candidates with local ties to the area or plans to remain in the region following the internship Coursework or hands-on experience with

Python programming

and familiarity with Microsoft development environments or tools (including

Microsoft Foundry

) Exposure to

AI, machine learning, or automation

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Flexible hours with the capacity to work 20-40 hours per week
