The IT Product Manager for Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a Hybrid role based out of our Headquarters in Overland Park, KS. This role will be responsible for driving the strategic roadmap, and execution of Dynamics 365 solutions across the organization and serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Dynamics 365 supports enterprise goals, streamlines operations, and delivers measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
+ Define and own the product roadmap for Dynamics 365 (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, etc.).
+ Translate business objectives into functional product requirements and prioritize feature enhancements.
+ Serve as the product subject matter expert, championing adoption and maximizing ROI from Dynamics 365 investments.
Stakeholder Collaboration
+ Partner with business leaders across departments to understand needs and define user stories.
+ Manage expectations and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
Delivery & Execution
+ Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of Dynamics 365 implementations, integrations, and upgrades.
+ Collaborate with developers, external vendors, and Microsoft partners to deliver solutions.
+ Manage product backlog and sprint planning in collaboration with the development team.
Governance & Optimization
+ Establish and maintain governance frameworks, data integrity, and system security protocols.
+ Continuously assess product performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Training & Change Management
+ Lead training sessions, documentation, and communication around new features and updates.
+ Support user adoption and ensure smooth change management across the organization.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
+ 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in IT.
+ 3+ years managing or implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP and/or CRM modules).
+ Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale software projects.
Skills:
+ Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 ecosystem (Finance & Operations, Sales, Power Platform).
+ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
+ Solid knowledge of agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
+ Experience with data integration, Power BI, and Microsoft Azure is a plus.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP or CRM)
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant
PMP, CSPO, or Agile Product Owner certification
