Job Description

Aerotek is seeking inventory candidates for a manufacturing and distribution client in Middle River. Candidates should be open to being in a "jack-of-all-trades" role where their responsibilities may vary day to day from inventory/cycle counts, shipping, receiving, order picking, and forklift operation/material handling. The goal of team members in this department is to help the inventory, shipping, and receiving team achieve their goals so responsibilities may vary day to day with the urgency of different needs. Strong inventory experience using ERP systems is required as well as forklift experience. Ideal candidates will possess experience using SAP specifically - but candidates with strong inventory experience using other WMS software programs will be considered. These openings are on the first shift with overtime available and starting pay will range from $18-22/hr depending on experience and interview.

This position is a long-term contract role. Employment may last years - there is not an end date or end of work in sight in the forseeable future - but conversion to a permanent employee is unlikely. Therefore, candidates should be comfortable working on site through Aerotek. Description:

• Physical receipt of parts, entry into ERP system
• Labeling and put-away of parts
• Picking and scanning parts and/or kits into Excel spreadsheets
• Maintaining traceability of all hardware (documentation of batch/lot/serial number) in Excel spreadsheets
• Tracking movement of parts from picking through shipping
• Packing and crating of parts, ensuring quality inspection has occurred, tracking what\'s been shipped vs scanned/not shipped in Excel spreadsheets
• Reporting, investigating, and resolving inventory discrepancies
• Contributing to process improvements
• Perform ERP system transactions (e.g. receipts, inventory movement, cashing of parts to jobs, etc.)
• Maintaining cleanliness of workspace
• Experience moving product with pallet jack
