Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

40-hour Days plus call rotation ARRT & BLS required Flu vaccine required Current staff will need to be vaccinated upon start Active MA license required

Duties



Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and PET scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs and medical history. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical terminology and documentation standards. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to minimize the risk of infection. Conduct quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance. Provide education and support to patients regarding the imaging process and any necessary preparations. Assist in urgent care settings, emergency medicine situations, and level I or II trauma centers as needed. Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and practices.

Skills



Proficiency in various imaging modalities including nuclear medicine, sonography, mammography, DEXA scan, and diagnostic radiology. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to medical imaging. Familiarity with emergency room protocols and experience in urgent care settings. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately under pressure. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals. Attention to detail when documenting procedures and maintaining patient confidentiality. Experience working in a level I trauma center is preferred but not required.
