About the Role



Join our government client as an Intermediate IT Project Manager, where you will manage, plan, execute, monitor, and control medium to large information technology projects and teams. This hybrid position involves working collaboratively within the division to ensure quality, timely project implementations, and successful business adoption. Essential Responsibilities



Manage medium to large IT projects from initiation to close. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with IT staff, county/agency staff, and contracted resources. Create, review, and maintain project management plans, schedules, meeting agendas and minutes, risk/issue logs, and lessons learned. Manage projects according to approved Governance policies and procedures. Utilize the Atlassian tool suite to track milestones, tasks, and deliverables, addressing variances and reporting corrective actions to the PMO Manager. Schedule, prepare for, and facilitate project meetings. Communicate project status to stakeholders, escalating and/or addressing issues promptly. Adhere to policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain project artifacts according to the document management strategy. Support a team atmosphere to promote team productivity. Support project portfolio maintenance and updated Governance manual policies/procedures as assigned. Work with the PMO Manager to establish performance expectations. Perform related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications



5+ years of project management experience. 2+ years of experience in managing large, complex multi-year projects. 2 years of intermediate knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite. 2 years of intermediate knowledge of Salesforce technology. 2 years of thorough knowledge and experience of PMBOK project management practices, including cost management, benefit analysis, risk management, resource management, and change control. 2 years of thorough knowledge and experience of Agile Project Management & IT governance methodologies, tools, and approaches to successful project implementations. 2 years of experience with cost management, benefit analysis, risk management, resource management, and change control. Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft products (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio). Ability to lead, motivate, encourage, and influence others to perform. Ability to analyze, produce solutions, and solve project issues. Ability to build and maintain relationships across business groups. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Resource must currently reside in the State of IN.

Preferred Qualifications



PMP Certification. Agile Certification. Scrum Master Certification. Business knowledge of IV-D and Child Support Enforcement. Experience in state government.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $37.53 - $46.32 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
