Interim Virtual Elearning Coordinator
Job Description

This position is posted as an interim vacancy for the 2023/2024 school year.
Job Summary: This position is responsible for developing and providing opportunities for teacher training, professional learning, and in-service activities related to and supporting the District\xe2\x80\x99s online and virtual learning curriculum and instructional initiatives. The coordinator supports and trains District employees who work with online and virtual learning.
Bargaining Unit: Non Represented
Salary: Grade 7 ($75,895.46 - $106,594.38, depending on experience)
Work year: 12 month
Job Qualifications/Requirements (please review job description for qualifications and duties of the position):
- Must possess a current Type A or Type C Alaska certificate.
- Must possess a current Type B administrator\xe2\x80\x99s certificate.
- Three years experience facilitating/coordinating professional committees or workshops.
- Working knowledge of district instructional components, such as personalized learning, Professional Learning Communities, MTSS, and the instructional process.
- Familiarity with online learning and non-traditional instructional models such as blended or virtual instruction.
