The position is located within the Naval Aircraft Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), the Air Systems Group/System Safety & Air Systems Integration Department the positon is located in Patuxent River, Maryland.

Position Duties/Responsibilities
Project/Program Engineer in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles and processes in research and engineering, test and evaluation and logistics functions. Identifies and solves a wide variety of complex problems with many competing objectives, variables and constraints. Delivers optimized technical solutions that are balanced to achieve required technical performance within cost, schedule and technology constraints. Functions as a project lead, program manager, team lead or member of an integrated team/group providing technical guidance to a technical workforce and meeting customer requirements for products and/or services. Project/Program Management manage a small to medium scale/scope or segments of a project/program. Applies tools such as but not limited to: Risk Management, Configuration Management, Data Management, Trade-off Analysis/Trade Studies, Technical Performance Measurement, Technical Reviews, Modeling & Simulation or Earned Value Management.
