Intake Counselor
Job Description
The Intake Couselor will be a team member of the facility\'s Clinical Admissions Department, and the candidate will guide patients through the admissions process. Education \xe2\x80\xa2 Required: Bachelor\'s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or another related field \xe2\x80\xa2 Or at least 4 years experience in behavioral health Experience \xe2\x80\xa2 1-2 years of experience working in a higher level of psychiatric or substance abuse facility required \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience completing bio-psychosocial assessments \xe2\x80\xa2 Working with those experiencing a behavioral health crisis or under the influence of substances \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong customer service background \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Detail oriented \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in working with an electronic health record \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience using Excel \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with DTX/RTC/PHP/IOP/OP Levels of Care Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Greet patients and their loved ones, navigating new patients through the admissions process \xe2\x80\xa2 Complete intake assessments and other evidence-based assessments \xe2\x80\xa2 Follow company Standards of Care to ensure proper care and documentation \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop initial treatment and discharge plans

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
