Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares insurance supplements using Xactimate software detailing the scope of loss
• Escalates concerns to management when job cost obtained on the supplement is not within margins
• Manages insurance supplement approval process and following up on pending approvals
• Review insurance claim estimates and write supplemental estimates for damages to roof and other trades using updated estimating software
• Collect and maintain all client information for insurance claims
• Rigorous follow up to resolve supplements
• Strong working knowledge of insurance claims process
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledgeable and up-to-date on all building code requirements for each state
• Ability to identify potential site hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills to manage jobs that are in multiple stages of the process
• Strong working knowledge of insurance claims process for exterior home restoration, including roofing repair and replacement

• Extensive experience and high level of proficiency with Xactimate software
• Construction knowledge and experience is preferred, but not required.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Business or similar technical field, or equivalent experience
• 1 - 3 years\' experience filing property damage claims
