Property and Casualty independent insurance agency in the Springfield, IL area has an immediate need for a FULL time Farm/Agriculture, Commercial Account Manager. Over the last 11 years, they have developed an excellent reputation for providing client-focused solutions with high customer service for farms, agri-business, personal and commercial insurance needs.

Account Manager will be an extremely organized, self-motivated key player to the team. The Account Manager will be responsible for servicing and managing a book of agriculture and farm accounts, commercial accounts and some personal lines accounts. Account Manager will help service and retain customers. The Account Manager is responsible for managing the renewal process, prepare certificates of insurance, prepare endorsements, submissions, manage quotes and proposals, answering questions regarding coverage, manage and monitor claims along with other assigned tasks. Account Manager will develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients and carrier partners. Account Manager will market submissions to carriers as appropriate and aggressively negotiate new and renewal pricing with carrier. Experience with several carriers is a plus.

Compensation

Salary starting at $56k depending on experience along with bonuses. Agency offers benefits that will include health, dental, vision, 401k with a company match, paid vacation days, personal sick days, and paid Free Summer Friday\'s.

Qualifications

Current P&C (Property & Casualty) License required. Bachelors Degree or relevant work experience preferred. Minimum of 3 years agriculture/farm insurance experience. Looking for customer-service oriented professional with an engaging & team player attitude.
