Instructional Designer Instructional Designer Job Summary: An Instructional Designer is responsible for using computer software and other technologies to streamline education courses for students and professionals. Their duties include consulting with subject experts to determine the efficiency of their course designs, transferring courses into online formats, and creating course manuals for Teachers or professionals to use. The responsibility of Instructional Designers is to analyze and fix disconnections between learning performance and available tools. As the education system integrates more and more technology and social media tools, they help to make the transition to more interactive programs. Here are some of the duties Instructional Designers can be expected to perform: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a training solution partner to the organization, working directly and independently with subject matter experts (SME) to design training content.

\xc2\xb7 Apply project management skills, business acumen, and relationship management skills to managing instructional design projects. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with key company stakeholders to define learning objectives, develop training curriculum, activities, assignments, and assessments, and complete annual training & development needs assessments. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for the inclusive and accessible design, development, and maintenance of training courses using multiple delivery methods, including instructor-led training (classes and webinars), self-paced web-based training, and other training and development support. \xc2\xb7 Performs Learning Management System admin tasks, from maximizing system functionality, uploading new content, and analyzing training content to ensure learning objectives are met. \xc2\xb7 Oversee implementation of new training initiatives and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure success and effectiveness. Areas of training include, but are not limited to, new employee onboarding, career pathing, leadership development, and regulatory compliance (local/state/federal). Qualifications and Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher in instructional design, education, or a related field is preferred \xc2\xb7 Teaching or administrator\xe2\x80\x99s license preferred \xc2\xb7 3+ years of previous experience in instructional design \xc2\xb7 Extensive knowledge of best practices in the creation & design of instructional materials for adult education and/or corporate training. \xc2\xb7 Extensive knowledge of best practices in the accessible and inclusive design on in person and online training materials. \xc2\xb7 3+ years of experience using course authoring tools \xc2\xb7 Proficiency with Blackboard, Canvas, Camtasia, Captivate, Moodle, or proprietary LMS \xc2\xb7 Familiar with website design, video technology, and editing \xc2\xb7 Understanding of varied learning styles \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of assessment and evaluation methods \xc2\xb7 Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients \xc2\xb7 Critical thinking skills \xc2\xb7 Excellent project management and organizational skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits:
