Position Title: Installation Warehouse Assistant

Reports to: Installation Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:

As the Installation Warehouse Assistant for Laureyns United you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving, stocking, and pulling of materials and equipment. Logistics plays an import role within the company driving profitability and the workflow of scheduled jobs. Your role will be to ensure that the needed materials/equipment are received properly and arrives at the jobsite in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:

• Load and unload deliveries which can be received via transport or company vehicle
• Receive materials and equipment, by physical count and entering accurate counts into ERP system to ensure accurate job reporting/accounting
• Pull warehouse stock for material orders placed by Project Managers and Field Installers
• Ensure the accurate labeling and staging of material and equipment for jobs
• Process material returns in an accurate and expedient manner
• Audit each stock kit to ensure that they are well maintained, accurate, and have the appropriate paperwork
• Manage activities in regard to jobsite order deliveries and pickups
• Stock shelves with received inventory stock orders and job returns
• Report stock inventory needs to the Installation Warehouse Manager
• Ensure that the flow of paperwork for receipts and inventory transfers are handled properly and efficiently
• Utilize the receiving report, daily to provide support to the Installation Warehouse Manager for tracking backorders
• Keep warehouse and all material trailers in a neat and organized fashion in order to promote a safe working environment
• Move pallets via forklift and/or pallet jack
• Ensure that all company vehicles and material trailers are locked at the end of each shift
• Snow removal and lot preparation during the winter season
• Occasionally provide back up to the Installation Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Driver
• Maintain the tool tracking program

Requirements:

Job Specifications:

• Certifications necessary for success OSHA-10, DOT Certification, Forklift Certification
• Clean Cori and driving record
• Frequently communicates with co-workers and vendors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations both written and verbally through active listening
• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
• Critical Thinking must be able to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of various solutions in order to effectively solve problems
• Computer knowledge to maintain an accurate inventory extensive amount of computer usage is required daily
• Extensive amount of sitting, standing, and lifting throughout the day
• Time Management is necessary to coordinate job start times and their location with product arrival times
