POSITION SUMMARY:
This position requires multi-faceted interaction with your customers, needs assessment, problem resolution, development of relationships, and substantial knowledge of the products, services, and processes of our production/installation.
We're looking for a results-driven sales representative to engage and complete a consultative sales process with customer prospects provided through company marketing efforts, as well as walk-in customers.
Responsibilities
Reach out to customer leads and establish "next steps" in the sales process
Present, promote, and sell products and services using excellent needs analysis, listening skills, cost analysis, and presentation of a solution to existing and prospective customers
"Walk" customers to view and select material needed for their projects
Create customer estimates, detailed job paperwork, as well as QuickBooks invoices
Report critical job information in our operating system (Moraware)
Follow through on the sales process to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Achieve agreed upon sales targets
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Report customer activities in our company CRM
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Continuously improve through feedback and training
Skills
Experience in the Stone industry or builder trade sales prefered
Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
Multitasking
Stone sales representative experience is a plus
Familiarity with CRM practices
Ability to build productive business professional relationships
Strong math skills
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Pay rate determined by qualifications - Great pay for qualified sales people
This position requires work every Saturday from 9-2 and 4 additional business days from 8-5. You can take off any week day except Monday.
