The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to Barron Equipment clients while providing administrative and sales support to both the Inside and Outside Sales teams. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various software tools to manage quotes, customer interactions, and vendor coordination.
Primary Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding customer service to all Barron Equipment clients and internal team members.
Answer and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
Assist walk-in customers and respond to inquiries via email and phone.
Support the Outside Sales team by preparing quotes, converting them to orders, and following up on pending quotes and orders.
Communicate with vendor representatives to obtain pricing and product information.
Provide backup support to the Service Department, including scheduling installations and service calls, and preparing job sheets.
Assist Caster Sales and other Sales Representatives as needed.
Maintain a high level of organization and multitasking to manage daily responsibilities efficiently.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Uphold Barron Equipment's policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Maintain consistent attendance and adhere to the company dress code.
Participate in department meetings and complete other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands
Occasionally lift 10-20 lbs (e.g., boxes, paperwork).
Sit for approximately 6 hours during an 8-hour workday.
Operate office equipment such as fax and copy machines.
Frequently use a keyboard and telephone.
Reach overhead to file documents.
Climb stairs to access the employee lounge and conference room.
Cognitive Requirements
Calculate unit pricing for parts and services using Excel.
Use a calculator to determine customer/vendor pricing percentages.
