Inside Sales Representative
to join our growing team. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in the Camden, NJ Metropolitan Area. The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in supporting revenue growth by managing customer accounts, strengthening client relationships, and serving as a key liaison between customers and internal departments.
This position requires a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at problem-solving, and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, building strong, long-term relationships through responsive and professional communication
Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, specifications, lead times, and order status
Prepare accurate and competitive quotes based on customer requirements, market conditions, and company guidelines
Enter, process, and track customer orders within internal systems, ensuring accuracy from order placement through delivery
Coordinate closely with operations, production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates, delays, or changes to customers
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services based on customer needs
Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and sales activity within CRM systems
Assist with resolving customer concerns or issues, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution
Support outside sales efforts and contribute to overall sales strategy and team objectives
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, or a related role
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport with customers
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High level of organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience using CRM software
Understanding of steel products or prior experience in the metals, manufacturing, or industrial supply industry is strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience)
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
