QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY:
1. Registered Nurse License in good standing with the Arizona State Board of Nursing
2. Current CPR/ BLS
3. Professional Liability Protection MANDATORY
EXPERIENCE:
1. Minimum 2 years Inpatient Registered Nurse experience
2. Supervisory experience preferred.
SKILLS & ABILITY:
1. High level of proficiency with Microsoft office applications, hospital software applications.
2. Ability to think critically and multitask in a high-pressure situation.
3. Ability to organize and manage an office setting and work with all.
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member; establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with members of the interdisciplinary team, and exercise judgment by participating in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care according to college standards.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs according to the Standards of Professional Practice set out by the Arizona State Board of Nursing and in compliance with the policies, procedures and standards of the facility
2. Accepts clinical responsibility and professional accountability for the care delivered to assigned patients.
3. Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team, fulfilling responsibilities as such.
4. Complies with The Ethical Framework for Registered Nurses in Arizona
5. Provide direction, guidance, supervision
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Conducting comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and throughout hospitalization, including vital signs, medical history, and symptom evaluations
Administering medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team
Monitoring patients for changes in condition, recognizing early signs of deterioration, and initiating appropriate interventions
Providing wound care, catheter management, and other bedside procedures in accordance with clinical protocols
Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
Preparing patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, or surgeries, and providing post-procedure care and monitoring
Educating patients and families on disease processes, discharge instructions, and medication regimens to promote continuity of care
Ensuring accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR), including assessments, interventions, and patient responses
Participating in care conferences, shift handoffs, and interdisciplinary rounds to maintain effective communication and continuity of care
Maintaining a safe and organized care environment, monitoring equipment, and ensuring adequate supplies for daily operations
Carry out all work assignments safely and be knowledgeable of and in compliance with relevant regulations, policies and procedures in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations, as well as other legislation as applicable.

2. Must provide satisfactory Level 2 Background Check
3. Must maintain Certified Registered Nurse License in good standing with the Arizona State Board of Nursing
