Overview

We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics injection molding, machining, and materials handling, with a focus on precision and safety. Duties

Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines to ensure optimal production performance. Perform quality inspections as Operator Self-Verification. Handle raw materials and finished products safely using forklifts, cranes and other warehouse equipment. Be familiar with general hand tools. Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. Assist with assembly processes as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Maintain detailed records of production activities, inspection results, and machine maintenance.

Skills

Proficiency with plastics injection molding processes. Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Experience with materials handling, fabrication, and the use of hand tools for machining or assembly tasks. Familiarity with quality inspection techniques. Ability to operate forklifts safely; warehouse experience is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to manufacturing specifications. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote continuous improvement in production workflows. Strong understanding of safety protocols within a manufacturing environment. Candidates should possess mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment while adhering to safety standards.
Pay: $16.50 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
