Midwest Holding LLC, a rapidly growing financial services holding company, seeks a highly analytical, hands-on, and energetic team player to join us as an In-Force Policy Services Manager. We operate as a modern insurance-holding company focused on long-term growth. We aim to foster and cultivate our relationships to sell and administer annuity products through third-party independent marketing organizations (IMOs).
Summary/Objective
The In-Force Policy Services Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the In-force Policy Services team, which handles all aspects of the existing annuity policies during their life cycle, including in-force services and the customer service phone team. The manager will ensure that all policies are in good order, complying with company and regulatory guidelines, and that our customer service is at the highest standard,
Essential Functions
Monitor policy maintenance activities, including updating policyholder information, beneficiary designations, and processing requests for changes.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
Provide training and support to staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about annuity products, policies, and procedures.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team and individual performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address issues.
Work with other departments, including sales, underwriting, and compliance, to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
5 years of experience in annuity operations, policy administration, or customer service,
Prefer 1 year in a lead, supervisory or managerial role.
Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with agents and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with agent management systems.
Competencies
Strong knowledge of annuity products, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
Experience with process improvement and change management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Work Environment
Works in an office environment but may need to travel occasionally for training or meetings. This is a full-time position, with typical business hours of 8 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday. Additional hours may be required during peak periods or to meet deadlines. The manager may need to be available occasionally for on-call support outside of regular business hours in case of urgent matters.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position currently manages approximately 10-15 employees.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as needed to complete work and ensure operations/business is not interrupted or slowed.
Travel
No regular travel is expected for this position.

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
