Industrial Shift Electrician

job summary:
An Industrial Electrician is needed at a medium-sized plant that is part of a large and financially stable company. This company has never had a layoff in its history, and the plant is located just 25 minutes away from Huntsville, AL. You should have a firm background in PLCs. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment used in manufacturing processes. work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including motors, generators, transformers, and control systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and implement effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards
- Work closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing equipment
- Participate in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs
- Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical maintenance work performed
The essential functions of this role include:
- working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
