Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our team. As a Sewing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sewing machines to fabricate garments. This is a part-time position located in our warehouse facility with potential to transition to a full-time position.

Duties:
- Operate sewing machines to sew fabric pieces together according to garment construction specifications
- Perform routine machine maintenance, such as cleaning and oiling, to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Follow production schedules and meet daily production targets
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sewing Machine Operator or similar role, preferably in garment construction or related industry
- Proficient in operating sewing machines and familiar with different sewing techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Basic math skills for measuring fabric and calculating production quantities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
