In-Home Non-Medical Caregiver

Carroll, Nebraska

Schedule:

Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, NOT FLEXIBLE ON THIS TIME FRAME

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Non-Medical Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to a delightful client in her home in Carroll, Nebraska. The position involves assisting with activities of daily living and engaging in activities that enhance the client's well-being. The client has a particular interest in playing cards and enjoys going swimming at the local YMCA.

Responsibilities:

Companionship:

Engage in meaningful conversations and companionship with the client to promote a positive and supportive environment.

Assistance with Daily Activities:

Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing, and mobility support.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not mandatory.

Compassion:

Demonstrate a compassionate and patient approach to caregiving.

Reliability:

Exhibit reliability and punctuality to ensure consistent care for the client.

Activity Engagement:

Comfortable participating in activities such as card games and accompanying the client to recreational activities like swimming.

Communication Skills:

Effective communication skills to understand and meet the client's needs.

Background Check:

Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug test.
