Job Description

Description:

Will perform general housekeeping, inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment 4160 volts or lower, and documentation.

Perform routine repairs and emergency repairs of the plant instrumentation and control system.

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of circuit breakers, motor control centers, motors, generator, transformers, electrical metering and protective relays, turbine generator instruments, control circuits, combustion controls, drum level controls, recording devices, alarm circuits and settings, calibration of the CEMS system.

Interpret wiring diagrams to trace and connect numerous wires carrying current for independent functions using voltmeters, ammeters and related electrical testing equipment.

The employee will operate computer to access Maintenance Management Program for equipment history and work order reviews, both corrective and preventive.
