What you\'ll do...

Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technical Parts Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately identifying various HVAC, Refrigeration, and Energy Management Systems (EMS) parts and components. Your expertise in understanding the specifications, compatibility, and functionality of these parts will be crucial in supporting our field associates and ensuring efficient and effective solutions for Walmart\xe2\x80\x99s needs.

What you\'ll do

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify Parts: Accurately identify HVAC, Refrigeration, and Emergency Management System (EMS) parts and components based on field inquiries, technical documentation, or physical examination of the equipment and work to source parts from most optimal supplier.

2. Research: Conduct comprehensive research on various parts, including make, model, specifications, compatibility, and replacement options, to provide accurate information to field associates and internal teams.

3. Catalog Maintenance: Update and maintain a comprehensive parts catalog, including part numbers, descriptions, specifications, and corresponding equipment models, ensuring its accuracy and accessibility.

4. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of HVAC and Refrigeration parts, ensuring stock levels are sufficient to meet field demands and working closely with the parts team for restocking when necessary.

5. Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to field associates, parts teams, and service technicians by offering insights on the appropriate parts required for specific equipment, troubleshooting issues, and providing recommendations for replacements or upgrades. Work towards root cause identification and assist with trouble shooting and diagnosing equipment.

6. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including parts, service, and procurement, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts to customers, as well as to address any challenges or concerns related to parts identification and availability.

What you\'ll bring:

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or Bachelor\'s degree in HVAC or related field is preferred.

2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the HVAC and refrigeration industry, preferably in parts identification, procurement, or technical support roles.

3. Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including various components and parts, their functionalities, and compatibility requirements.

4. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in identifying parts and documenting specifications is essential.

5. Research Skills: Strong research and analytical skills to gather and interpret technical information from a variety of sources, such as manuals, catalogs, and online resources.
