FMLA, disability leave, parental leave, and other leave policies
, in addition to broader HR responsibilities. Knowledge of Canadian HR policies and practices is a plus!
Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage all
leave programs
, including FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other company leave policies.
Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, vacation, and other personnel packages.
Assist with
recruitment efforts
, employee onboarding, and training programs.
Ensure
legal compliance
by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements.
Support departments in developing and delivering strategic HR plans that align with business objectives.
Handle
employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
.
Maintain
HR policies, procedures, and records
to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Foster
strong relationships with employees and external partners
to improve HR functions.
Handle confidential matters with discretion.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
3+ years of HR experience, with a strong focus on leave administration.
In-depth knowledge of
FMLA, disability programs, and state leave laws
.
Familiarity with
Canadian HR policies
is highly beneficial.
Extensive knowledge of
HR policies, systems, and compliance regulations
.
Strong
problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
.
Proficiency in
HR software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and HRIS systems
.
