The Human Resources Recruitment Specialist identifies staffing needs within the company and recruits, interviews, screens and refers candidates for job openings. This position is responsible for researching and developing connections with outside agencies to establish recruiting strategies for both seasonal and permanent positions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

  • Recruits domestic and international candidates to fill open positions within the company.
  • Works as primary contact for international recruiting agencies, as well as international candidates.
  • Conducts Skype or other form of interviews with J1 and H2B candidates.
  • Develops cultural programs within the resort to meet the intercultural aspects of the J1 program.
  • Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
  • Writes job descriptions or reviews and edits job descriptions written by others.
  • Develops recruitment programs and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.
  • Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates, such as schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations.
  • Reviews applications and may assist hiring managers with interviewing applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
  • Screens and refers candidates to job openings within the organization.
  • Writes and places job advertisements internally and through various media.
  • Coordinates participation in, sets up display, and works at job fairs.
  • Makes public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities.
  • Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Utilizes online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Helps Coordinate communication between applicants and hiring managers.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor, which could be directly related, or unrelated to original position.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be willing to travel within the state of VT for Job Fairs and assistance in J1 student travel needs.
  • Must have the ability to work some weekends and a fluctuating schedule as needed.
