The Manager of Human Resources directs the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives, provides guidance on HR policies and practices, and fosters a culture of employee engagement and development.
What You Will Do:

• Collaborating with management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
• Aligning HR policies and programs for their business unit or region which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
• Acting as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
• Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
• Leading team of HR professional(s) to collaborate effectively with other Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR.
• Provide sound management skills in leading/managing strategic projects.

• Leads projects and develop and implement change management methods and materials to facilitate deployment of HR programs and processes.
• Assist with hiring, training, and safety-related initiatives.
• Work with employees on all payrolls and all shifts, to provide direction regarding interpretation and application of employee-related policies, practices, and procedures, ensuring consistency.

What You Have:

• Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
• Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
• Human Resources Consulting: Knowledge of HR approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to inform, guide and advise managers in HR-related initiatives.
• Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies, and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

Top Candidates will also have:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Strong experience in data analysis and storytelling through reporting.
• Proficient in HR and reporting tools (i.e. Workday, Power BI, and Excel).
• Skilled in presenting complex topics to diverse audiences across organizational levels.
• Demonstrates exceptional judgment and creative problem-solving abilities.

Additional Information:

• Position is in Dyer, IN.
• The selected candidate will be required to be on site Monday to Friday.
• This role requires less than 10% travel.
• Relocation will be available for this role.
• Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Summary Pay Range: $110,520.00 - $165,840.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
