Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is seeking a HR Generalist to join their team.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, skilled in conflict resolution, passionate about creating a positive employee experience, and comfortable managing multiple HR responsibilities in a fast-paced environment for USA and Canada.
HR Generalist Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues and workplace concerns.
Conduct investigations and support conflict resolution efforts in line with company policies and legal guidelines.
Partner with managers and employees to ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
Support the development of a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Gather and analyze employee relations data and help to identify trends.
Maintain compliance and understanding with federal and state regulations concerning employment practices.
Conduct exit interviews of voluntary terminations; analyze trends and recommend solutions
Produce reporting on exit interviews, hotline calls, and corrective action documents.
Handle confidential information appropriately and escalate issues as needed.
Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and create job postings.
Source, screen, and interview candidates to ensure the best fit for both skills and culture.
Manage the full cycle recruiting process, from candidate engagement through onboarding.
Maintain applicant tracking systems and ensure compliance with recruitment policies.
Assist with HR-related administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, preparing reports, and coordinating trainings. Support HR on-boarding, process background checks, conduct new hire touch bases, and new leader assimilations.
Maintain and update organizational charts, open to hire reports, and manage special requests as it relates to HR reporting/organizational charts.
Support company-wide HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs, wellness events, and performance reviews.
HR Generalist Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of HR Generalist experience
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word
Experience in handling employee relations issues and dealing with labor laws in USA and Canada
Knowledge and practical application of all HR discipline and practices
Well-developed written presentation, organization, and editing skills
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to contribute within a team setting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
