Human Resources Assistant & Office Manager
to join our HR team and help drive operational excellence across both HR and office operations.
Position Overview
The Human Resources Assistant & Office Manager will provide administrative and operational support to the HR department while also overseeing daily office functions to ensure a well-organized, efficient, and professional workplace. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and has excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in both HR and office administration.
Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking systems.
Support onboarding and orientation of new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
Maintain accurate HR records, files, and employee documentation.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
Assist in coordinating training sessions, performance evaluations, and employee engagement initiatives.
Help ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws.
Support HR team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as needed.
Office Manager Responsibilities
Oversee daily office operations to ensure a clean, organized, and productive work environment.
Manage office supplies inventory, place orders, and track usage to ensure cost efficiency.
Coordinate office repairs, maintenance requests, and vendor relationships (cleaning services, equipment suppliers, etc.).
Support companywide communications, announcements, and office-wide initiatives.
Assist with planning staff meetings, events, celebrations, and team-building activities.
Serve as a point of contact for building management and security access requests.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in an HR, administrative, or office management role is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HR software (e.g., HRIS) is a plus.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
