Job Description





Job Duties: Recruits for open positions. Deals directly with department heads to place ads, post positions, and ensure proper paperwork is in place prior to recruitment. Initiates and oversees process for new hires, medical students, interns, and vendors. Ensures proper paperwork is completed for files. Facilitates pre-employment physical, background checks and license verification in a timely manner. Maintains HR system. Audits new employee files, ensuring correct pay, accruals, deductions, etc. Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and hospital\'s policies and procedures relating to onboarding employees and maintaining files.
Performs duties associated with disciplinary actions.
Assists in development and implementation of departmental goals, objectives and systems.
Meets with employees regarding various issues/concerns and seeks and implements resolutions.
Prepares and submits union reports to unions.
Works with ADP system on implementation, coding changes and any other revisions that are necessary.
Responsible for the Exit Interview program and follow up on issues.
Works with VP on annual system wide mandatory programs ex: Performance Evaluations. Tracks compliance.
Assists with running new hire orientation
Assists with employee events, rewards, surveys, discounts, activities, trainings
Education + Experience Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in related field preferred 3 plus years experience in Human Resources, including Talent Acquisition MS Office - Excel, Words, PowerPoint
