Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Manage laundry operations efficiently by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and guest clothing with care. Handle dry cleaning tasks for delicate or special items to ensure they are properly cleaned and returned in excellent condition. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces to ensure a welcoming environment. Follow safety protocols when operating cleaning equipment and handling chemicals to promote a safe workplace. Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials to ensure availability at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks promptly while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and dry cleaning procedures is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting linens or moving equipment. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond promptly to guest needs. A positive attitude and proactive approach are essential for success in this energetic role. Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
