Job Summary: Housekeeper attends to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean, sanitary, environment for our residents and guests. You will be responsible for cleaning rooms and common areas, disposing of trash, changing beds and notifying maintenance of any issues.
Common Responsibilities:
- Cleans each bathroom daily and places adequate soap, paper towels, and tissues in each room
- Dusts, dry mops, and empties trash cans daily in resident rooms, lounges and work areas
- Light mopping as needed
- Washes each bed with a disinfectant solution, turns mattress monthly and as needed
- Straightens and arranges items in rooms
- Maintains carpets and remaining floors as indicated on floor maintenance plan
- Mops floors prior to stripping and buffing
- Keeps medical equipment clean and sanitized
- Moves facility beds, nightstands, etc. as needed
- Keeps linen closets supplied
- Helps as needed in department
