Minimum
5 years of direct Hotel General Manager experience
(10+ years preferred)
Proficiency in one or more major hotel management systems:
Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, or leading Independent PMS/CRM platforms
Proven success leading teams, managing P&L, and driving owner ROI
Skilled at Training Department Leads and Line Level Associates in Operational Excellence SOP's
Ability to rapidly assess, stabilize, and improve property operations
Strong communication, leadership, and mentorship skills
About the Role
EHS Operational Excellence is seeking seasoned
Task Force General Managers
to support hotels during leadership transitions, performance recovery periods, or ownership changes.
Each engagement is designed to deliver immediate operational stability, guest satisfaction, and financial improvement while mentoring on-site teams toward lasting success.
Assignments often begin with a

, allowing our leaders to first experience the property as a guest before stepping into leadership.
Many projects lead to long-term or permanent opportunities -

What You'll Do
Serve as interim General Manager or acting operational lead
Conduct full property and team evaluations with measurable improvement plans
Mentor and coach department heads to elevate performance and guest service
Oversee daily operations, financial controls, and brand compliance
Provide structured, actionable feedback to ownership and management companies
Implement
EHS Operational Excellence tools and metrics
to drive consistency
Typical assignments start at 2-4 weeks minimum and continue as hotel needs persist
Optionally consider permanent placement when mutually aligned
