Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to lead our hospitality team at our IHG Candlewood Suites in Salina, Kansas. IHG background a must. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and driving revenue growth. If you have a passion for the hospitality industry, a strong background in hotel management, and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you.

We are seeking an individual with hospitality certification, we obviously prefer experience with IHG specifically, but show us your credentials from any national chain to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, and housekeeping.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to increase revenue, optimize room rates, and improve profitability.
- Manage a team of hotel staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of service quality.
- Ensure excellent phone etiquette and guest relations, addressing any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Provide exceptional guest services, ensuring that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable stay.
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, making recommendations for hotel improvements and upgrades.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in hotel management, with a strong background in hospitality operations and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to hospitality excellence.
- A strong understanding of hospitality management principles, including guest services, room operations, and staff management.
