Hotel General Manager - Comfort Inn & Suites, Riverton, WY

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead the daily operations of Comfort Inn & Suites in Riverton, Wyoming. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences while overseeing all aspects of hotel management. This role demands a hands-on approach to supervising staff, maintaining high service standards, and driving revenue growth to ensure the success of our property.

Duties

Lead and manage all hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance, ensuring seamless functionality at Comfort Inn & Suites, Riverton, WY. Develop and implement strategies for revenue management and budgeting to maximize profitability for the property. Uphold Choice Hotels' high standards of customer service by training staff in hospitality best practices and brand-specific protocols. Oversee human resources functions, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations for hotel staff. Manage guest relations, promptly addressing issues or concerns to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and Choice Hotels' brand standards. Coordinate night audits and ensure accurate reporting of financial transactions in line with hotel policies. Utilize multi-line phone systems with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette to handle guest inquiries and reservations. Foster a positive, inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
Choice Certified Manager Training

The selected candidate will be required to enroll in and complete the Choice Hotels Certified Manager Training program within one month of hiring. This training ensures alignment with Choice Hotels' operational standards, brand expectations, and best practices, equipping the General Manager with the tools needed to succeed in this role.

Requirements

Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to effectively lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of revenue management principles and budgeting processes to drive financial performance. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and brand loyalty. Experience with front desk operations, including night audits, guest relations, and reservation systems. Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette. Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve the diverse clientele at Comfort Inn & Suites, Riverton, WY. Strong leadership qualities with a proven ability to motivate and inspire staff. Previous experience in resort management or with Choice Hotels properties is a plus.
