. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations -- ensuring an exceptional guest experience, maximizing profitability, and leading a motivated, high-performing team.
This role requires a hands-on leader who embodies Hilton's values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, and ownership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving results through operational excellence, team development, and a passion for guest service.
Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee all hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales.
Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding guest service, handle guest concerns promptly, and implement service improvement initiatives.
Maintain full compliance with Hilton brand standards, policies, and procedures.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
Financial & Strategic Management
Develop and execute business plans to drive occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall profitability.
Prepare, manage, and monitor the annual operating and capital budgets.
Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
Utilize revenue management tools and market analysis to maximize financial results.
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, hire, train, and retain top-performing team members across all departments.
Lead and motivate staff through clear communication, coaching, and recognition.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and establish accountability standards.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented culture.
Guest Relations & Community Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, community partners, and vendors.
Ensure effective handling of guest feedback and proactive service recovery.
Represent the hotel at community events and maintain a professional public image.
Compliance & Standards
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and brand compliance.
Ensure adherence to all Hilton, local, state, and federal regulations.
Oversee the night audit process for accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum
2-3 years of experience
as a General Manager in a branded hotel (Hilton experience preferred).
Proven record of success in guest satisfaction, team leadership, and financial performance.
Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and budgeting.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Hands-on management style with ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with hotel management software systems (Hilton PEP preferred).
