We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team. The AGM will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality management, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Duties
Assist the General Manager in managing hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, and housekeeping.
Supervise staff across various departments, providing training and guidance to ensure optimal performance.
Oversee revenue management strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining guest satisfaction.
Handle guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage budgeting processes and assist in financial reporting to track hotel performance.
Coordinate night audits and ensure accurate reporting of daily financial transactions.
Maintain effective communication with all departments through multi-line phone systems and in-person interactions.
Foster a welcoming environment by promoting hospitality values among staff.
Requirements
Proven experience in hotel management or a related field with supervisory experience preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively.
Knowledge of hospitality management principles, including revenue management and budgeting.
Experience with front desk operations and night audit procedures is highly desirable.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing guest relations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Familiarity with human resources practices within the hospitality industry is beneficial.
