We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating and flow throughout the establishment. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an outstanding guest experience, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere that keeps visitors coming back.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet guests upon arrival with genuine enthusiasm and professionalism Manage reservation bookings and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold high standards of hospitality Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and provide directions or recommendations as needed

Skills

Previous experience as a Host or in a similar hospitality role with food service background Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Experience in hotel or guest services enhances ability to handle diverse guest needs Knowledge of hospitality best practices including guest relations and serving etiquette Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills are essential

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
